Glass Painting Art

Wednesday, December 14, 2011

Huiping brought this very fun and interesting art painting too for me play. It's called glass decor painting tool. The thing is it is actually quite common, cause almost every shopping center have a small store for kids to draw! But what makes me so surprise is that we don't need the template to paint on, we can DIY our own design. Drew a Christmas tree and angel for Christmas decor.

I made a Me and Feng drawing on the design that I drew last time.
The thing is u can even Peel it off and stick on any glass surface.
TA DA!
And it actually sticks on almost any smooth surface. Like my Samsung note cover.
My gigabyte netbook....
AND is cheap too, cost around $6 plus for a pack of five colors and a black contour. Got puzzle if the black contour used finish what am I going to do with the rest of the colors. So I decided to do a test whether without the black contour, it still works ?
TA DA! It really works!
Try writing words
But I can't peel off.

A Little Bit Early Christmas Party

Saturday, December 10, 2011

Did a last minute shopping at Vivo city for Feng's friend Christmas party present. So in love with the diffuser that I bought from Breath, I decided to buy it for Christmas present exchange. Is really considered cheap for diffuser.

Got the branches design diffuser at $19.90. The black tea fragrance is nice.
The plant diffuser at $10.90. I like the woodland scent but is sold out. So I got 2 amberwood instead. 1 of them is for company gift exchange.
Is a bit last minute, so we can't find wrapper, tape or stuff to wrap it and there's no free wrapping service provided. In the end, we went daiso, and lucky they sell instant wrapper packets. 3 packets in a pack for $2, really not bad.
We exchanged a twister game and two belt for the Christmas present.
First time writing the blog using my Samsung note, used an application called BlogIt!

Things that look like other things

Wednesday, November 30, 2011

Read an interesting blog recommended by site-seeing section of 8 days magazine. Saw some of the furniture from that blog kind of cool to match them together, so I decided to pick them out and put them together. Feng said if all these furnitures are placed at the same room, it will looks like a kindergarten school.

Photos are taken from Things That Look Like Other Things

Read other interesting blog reviewed by 8 days too; such as

Korean trip photobook

Saturday, November 26, 2011

Purchased a groupon deal "$48 for $161 Worth of Photobook Vouchers from Photobook Singapore" on 27 Oct. Finished creation of the photobook draft and sent an order on 19 Nov, paid additional $12 for delivery charge. The book arrived 24 Nov 12pm, but i'm not home so DHL redelivered on 25 Nov 8pm.

So in total paid $60, took less than a month for me to design the 76 pages, and less than a week for them to produce then deliver the 8 x 11 inch book to me.

I'm quite delighted by the product but somehow I still think that the printing quality is not as good. Most of the photo are blur and too dull in color, although they all appears clear and vibrant in the computer screen when I was designing them. Some more, I purposely choose the photo with better resolution and brightened some of the photo contrast.

Maybe, next time u can try Photobook Express, I really like their glossy hard cover.
